October 2019 – SAGER Guidelines translated into Chinese by Mengchun Jia and Hongzhi Luo, National Research Institute for Family Planning, Beijing. Download

September 2019 – INASP included the guidelines in a training course in Uganda. Summary of the course has been written up in an INASP blog post, titled Improving journal publishing practices and standards for increased research equity.

May  2019 –  Korean translation of the SAGER guidelines, by Prof. Cheol-Heui Yun (Seoul National University). Download

September 2018 –  SAGER Guidelines presented at the University of Warwick  –  Summer School: How to be a Peer reviewer?, organized by PLOTINA project (September 10-14, 2018). Paola De Castro and Joan Marsh presented the Guidelines in two different sessions (download presentations A and B.)

November 2017 – GPC representation at the Gender Equality in Academic Publishing: Challenges and Opportunities in Health Journals workshop, at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, 30th November 2017.

August 2017 – Leila Poseinato Garcia had a communication on Sex and Gender Equity in Research and Publication at the X Brasilian Conference of Epidemiology. Presentation slides available here (Portugese language).

April 2017 – SAGER Guidelines received endorsement by the Brazilian Congress of Epidemiology

May 2017 – An abstract on SAGER guidelines was accepted for presentation at the 5th Conference on Research Integrity to be held on May 28-31, 2017 in Amsterdam (The Netherlands). A poster is available here

March 2017 – An application was sent to the Cochrane Reward prize for SAGER Guidelines.

July 2016 – The SAGER Guidelines were presented at the 14 International COMET Conference on Communication, Medicine and Ethics in July 2016 (presentation).

June 2016 – A commentary on SAGER guidelines was published in Annali dell’Istituto Superiore di Sanità in June 2016 focusing on SAGER Guidelines as a framework for innovation for an equitable approach to gender medicine. The Commentary is part of a Monographic issue on Sex and Gender perspective in medicine.
