From time to time, EASE creates an official statement on topics about which we, as an Association, feel strongly.

Endorsements

EASE supports appropriate initiatives led by respected organisations through an official endorsement process, led by the EASE Council.

• 2025: EASE endorses the Guidelines for intersectional analysis in science and technology (GIST) . • 2024: EASE endorses the World Medical Association’s (WMA) Declaration of Helsinki – ethical principles for medical research involving human participants. Last amended by the WMA General Assembly, Helsinki, Finland in October 2024
• 2024: EASE endorsed GENDRO’s urgent plea to WHA’s Member States: Gender-Responsive Agenda at the 77th World Health Assembly Must be Upheld to Ensure Inclusive Health Policies and Respect for Human Rights
• 2023: EASE has reiterated its official declaration of support for the Healthcare Information for All (HIFA) vision
• 2022: EASE endorses the Consensus Statement towards a gender-responsive international instrument for pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response
• 2021: EASE and ESE are signatories to the UN Sustainable Development Goals Publishers Compact
