We are delighted to announce that the University of Bucharest has kindly agreed to host our conference in June.

Prof Liviu Papadima, Vice-rector, will provide facilities in the Faculty of Law, Boulevard. M. Kogalniceanu. This is a central location, near the Opera House, easily accessible by public transport or on foot from the Old Town and the area between Piata Romana and Universitate, where there are many hotels of different budgets.

The conference dinner will be held at Pescarus, a modern restaurant serving traditional Romanian cuisine, located by the lakeside at Herastrau Park.

Transport from the Airport
The 783 Express line connects Bucharest Otopeni Henri Coandă International Airport with the city center. This line runs day and night. At night, the bus leaves every 40 minutes. You need to buy a ticket from the kiosk: the driver does not sell tickets.
Taxi: there is a kiosk at the airport at which one chooses taxi company and pre-orders. Taxi then arrives with your ticket number. Pay the cab: some accept credit cards, most don’t.
Uber and CleverTaxi are ride-hail apps that operate in Bucharest

Currency
The local currency is the Romanian leu and should be obtained: Euros are not generally accepted. VISA is generally accepted. AMEX is accepted in big hotels and very few restaurants and even fewer shops.

Accommodation
