As more and more aspects of science publishing move into the digital environment, conference delegates examined how this affects editors in their daily work and how they can exploit new technologies to improve their services to authors, their journals and their businesses/organizations. The Poster Prize was awarded to Dominique Millot for her poster on 2000–2009 Publication metrics reveal global trends in grain legume research. John Wiley and Sons kindly donated the prize of a book published by them to the value of £50.
The International Association of Veterinary Editors held their 9th Annual Meeting on 7-8 June in Tallinn. Details are on the IAVE website (www.veteditors.org).
