Workshop: Cancer for translators and medical writers

Katarzyna Szymanska, Science to the Point

An interactive workshop for those who work (or may work) with documents related to cancer but do not have a biological background from the field. It is a combination of short presentations and especially tailored exercises. It will be run in English but some French-English exercises may be included if the participants are French speakers. If they engage fully in the programme, by the end of the course the participants will have learnt the fundamental concepts and vocabulary from the area of cancer, as well as acquired the tools necessary to efficiently work with cancer-related documents.
