ORCID was launched to help journals, publishers, indexing services, learned associations, funding organizations and research institutions to systematise information about their contributors. It is integrated with CrossRef, KUDOS and ISNI and imports publication lists from Scopus Author ID and ResearcherID. ORCID IDs increase the visibility and transferability of information.

These IDs are for everyone (including author's editors, managing and technical editors) even if you do not do research or publish articles. EASE would like to encourage all of its members to register with ORCID and use their IDs.
