General information
EASE's journal,
European Science
Editing,
publishes articles, reports meetings, announces new developments and
forthcoming events, reviews books, software and online resources, and highlights
publications of interest to members.
Members
receive four issues per year of this A4 publication of 96-144 pages per
year without charge (other than their membership fees). The current
subscription rate for non-members is £60, including postage, for a
calendar year. Single copies and back issues cost £16 each.
Previously
issued three times yearly, since 2001 the journal has been issued in
February, May, August and November. It reaches over 1000 journal
editors, copyeditors, commercial and learned society/university press
publishers, and science translators and indexers.
The latest two issues of the journal may be downloaded by EASE members from the members' area.
Past
issues of the journal are open access
from 6 months after printed publication.
The archive contains issues from February 2003; these are available to download as PDF files
(about 1 Mb each).

Dimensions
Full page: maximum printed area 255 mm x 170 mm (or 297 mm x 210 mm for full bleed) (height x width).
Half page: maximum printed area 127 mm x 170 mm (or 148 mm x 210 mm for full bleed).
Rates (in GBP)
Full page: £305 one issue; £560 two issues; £815 three issues; £940 four issues.
Half page: £220 one issue; £360 two issues; £580 three issues; £700 four issues.
Two to four colour printing: add £75 per colour.
Outside back cover (minimum of two issues): add a premium of £55 per issue.
Typesetting will be charged extra, and 10 days must be added to the lead times given above.
Inserts
Inserts weighing up to 10 g cost £230 for one issue, £400 for two
issues, £550 for three issues, £715 for four issues. For inserts
weighing over 10 g, please ask for a quote for the additional postage
costs.
