Editing in the Digital World

As more and more aspects of science publishing move into the digital environment, the conference will examine how this affects editors in their daily work and how they can exploit new technologies to improve their services to authors, their journals and their businesses/organizations.
This topic will be addressed in four plenary sessions and multiple parallel sessions. See Programme.
There will be a poster exhibition, featuring 11 posters on a wide range of topics: read the abstracts.

The International Association of Veterinary Editors will be holding their 9th Annual Meeting on 7-8 June in Tallinn. There is no registration cost but registration is required to attend the reception and/or meeting. The registration deadline is 1 May 2012. Details and the programme are on the IAVE website (www.veteditors.org).

Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is a beautiful historic city on the banks of the Gulf of Finland. A variety of tours, both in the city and further afield, ranging from 2 to 8 hours, will be offered. Read more.
