The European Association of Science Editors (EASE) is an internationally oriented community of individuals from diverse backgrounds, linguistic traditions and professional experience who share an interest in science communication and editing.
Seminars are organized by Reme Melero. These usually last for half or a full day. They may be held as part of a larger event, such as the EuroScience Open Forum. Anyone with an idea for an EASE Seminar wishing to host such an event should contact Reme.
EASE collaborates with the Facultat de Biblioteconomia i Documentació at the University of Barcelona in Spain to organize an annual seminar. The next one will be in the summer of 2012: details will be provided in due course.
Training courses can also be arranged, e.g. on science writing or editing a journal. Anyone interested in hosting such a course should contact the EASE Secretary.

The next EASE workshop will be held in Warsaw, Poland, in April, on Writing a scientific paper and getting published by Elisabeth Heseltine. This workshop is being hosted by Edward Towpik and the Nowotwory Journal of Oncology. The workshop is fully subscribed.
