The European Association of Science Editors (EASE) is an internationally oriented community of individuals from diverse backgrounds, linguistic traditions and professional experience who share an interest in science communication and editing.
Training workshops were held in September 2012 during the EASE Conference at Tallin: see here for details.
During the Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF2010) in Turin, EASE organised an interesting and informative careers session that covered various aspects of editing. It was titled "Misconduct in science communication and the role of editors as science gatekeepers".
Anyone with an idea for an EASE Seminar or wishing to host a seminar should contact the Secretary.
Training courses can also be arranged, e.g. on science writing or editing a journal. Anyone interested in hosting such a course should contact the Secretary.
