The European Association of Science Editors (EASE) is an international community of individuals and associations from diverse backgrounds, linguistic traditions and professional experience in science communication and editing.

EASE Events

The 13th EASE Conference was held at the School of Medicine in central Strasbourg in 2016. The main theme was “Scientific integrity: editors on the front line”.

The  12th EASE General Assembly and Conference was held in Split, Croatia in 2014. A Joint Meeting with ISMTE was held in Blankenberge, Belgium, in September 2013.

The first EASE conference was held in 1982: see the list of past conferences, together with an EASE specialty – the overnight newsletter.  Ranging from the scurrilous to quirky, these give a light-hearted view of each day’s happenings at conferences down the years.

Certified Training

The content and quality of Certified Training Courses are endorsed by EASE (the Training Committee)  and a member of the Council  takes part in the course, or has a prominent role in the organisation.  Participants receive a certificate.

Other seminars and workshops

EASE also organizes seminars and training workshops.
